Dr. Adebowale Akintayo received her medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 2005 and worked at the Adeoyo Maternity Hospital in Nigeria until moving to Atlanta in 2008 to pursue her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She graduated from Emory in 2010, and subsequently completed her residency in Family and Preventive Medicine where she is still an adjunct assistant professor.
