Dr. Shahid Aziz, is a double board-certified physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism as well as Internal Medicine. He is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and pursued his Undergraduate Degree in Biology at Loyola University Chicago. His medical journey continued at Ross University, where he earned his Medical Degree, followed by completing his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

With a focus on providing exemplary care, Dr. Aziz specializes in various glandular disorders, including Thyroid disorders and nodules, Diabetes, Pituitary, Adrenal, Parathyroid, and Hypogonadism (Low Testosterone). Additionally, he holds certification as a Clinical Densitometrist (CCD) from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, empowering him to interpret bone density scans and effectively diagnose and treat osteoporosis.

Dr. Aziz brings forth advanced methodologies in Diabetes treatment, incorporating non-insulin therapies, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring. His professional ethos centers on delivering the highest quality care to his patients. He actively contributes to professional organizations such as the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Aziz cherishes family time with his spouse and three children, including twins. His interests span reading, sports, and fostering meaningful connections with his loved ones.
